The colours in these images have has actually been desaturated, we think of the moon as its own source of light, but its just the sunlight reflecting off the moons surface. And just as in waiting for sunrise or sunset for soft golden light, the rich saturated moonlight brings out a new palette of colours and its really another world of light and sound.
