The name ‘Corduroy’ is a term long used by surfers to describe the swell lines approaching the coast especially on a big swell. Like an old pair of beige corduroy pants from the 70’s.

With a perfectly groomed offshore wind that blows from the east in Western Australia, the swells clean up and are arranged in almost symmetrical alignment.

When the ocean is stacked with ‘Corduroy’ Lines you know me and the rest of the Southwest surfing community will be hunting waves all day and making the most of what this incredible Indian Ocean provides us with.
