The unbridled and raw power that come from a lightning storm is one of the most incredible experiences to not only witness but be in awe of. Ever since I was little I felt the most alive in a lightning storm, I would often get dropped off at the beach in the middle of a storm and be the only one surfing in the ocean, yes dangerous but well worth the risk. Its almost like being at the dinner table with Mother Nature or the Gods sitting through an electric light show. This image was completely unexpected and a place I have rarely been too. I was lucky enough to have this storm front roll over me without wind or rain until the front passed. Blessed to be a part of it and be able to capture the moment to show people, hopefully you can get a feeling of what it was like to be there. (Click image to enlarge)
